Temperament: Peaceful; Peaceful with other species it cannot eat, but territorial among themselves.
Diet: Carnivore; Live foods suit this species best, though it will usually accept frozen food. Foods such as brine shrimp and worms are suitable for small specimens; adults and semi-adults must be fed larger, chunkier foods such as live or frozen fish.
Care: A brackish tank of at least 120 gallons is needed for the long term well-being of this large Sleeper Goby. The tank should be furnished with large rocks and driftwood to provide multiple hiding places, especially if multiple specimens are kept.
