Care: This beautiful fish is highly recommended for the novice aquarist, being very easy to care for and very peaceful. Breed these egg-depositors in a set-up with some fine leaved plants of spawning mops. If bred in a community aquarium, very few will survive. Transfer the eggs into a different tank or in a breeding tank, remove the parents, and feed the fry on newly hatched brine shrimp.
