Care: This species is a full freshwater fish and will not be as healthy in brackish waters. It will readily eat brine shrimp, small snails, and frozen and live blood worms, mosquito larvae, and small tubifex worms. All puffers should be fed shelled food once a week to keep the growth of their teeth under control.
