I know this thread might be a little boring as I don't have too much of a variety of flowering plants.

But I hope that you enjoy the few shots of them anyway

My Anubias Barteri and Nana flower frequently, here is a few samples of if:

And a flower that developed on my Aponogenton Crispus (or similar, we are not sure yet about this particular plant) in two stages.

Early:

Here is a flower of my Narrow Leaf Sagittaria Subulata. It has an air bubble stuck in its center.

Little Fish, I have 2 anubias barteri with flowers as well. This is the first time they've flowered like this...what ends up happening with these growths? Are they seed-producing? Should I harvest them out of the tank? Do your fish eat them?

NFaustman,

I believe to remember that submersed Anubias flowers do not produce viable seeds. What will happen is that the "blossom" will desintirate until only a core is left. The stem on which the blossom sits will stay for quite a while. I usually trim it off, close to the rhizome.

Hope this helps,

Ingo

LF, thanks for the info. I'll probably snip them off soon. Nice pictures, by the way!

One with the air bubble is TOPS. You know I had no idea that aquarium plants even flowered. I am a dir brain. That is why I have an african cichlid tank with rocks no plants. I am good at plants on terra firma but not so much with the aqua ones.
