Does anyone know if blue acaras or port acaras would ever go good with an oscar.

I wouldnt, because they may end up getting eaten, as oscars seem to grow faster than acaras... I have personal experience with both fish, just not ever in the same tank!!!! I wouldn't risk your money or the time. That would be one expensive fishy meal!

72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up
75 gallon: A. Baenschi trio,Cyanotilapia Afra Cobwe(4), copadichromis trewavase, protomelas sp. tangerine tiger(breeding pair)

yep, acaras are smaller cichlids, 5-8 inches, where an oscar is over 1 foot. bad combo.

If you start them all out from Juvies, it could work, you never know until you try

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an bacon and egg breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'."

true, I've seen feeder goldfish become roommates w/ oscars so nothing's out of the question really

but Ive seen things go from friendly to deadly overnight too if Oscie looses his cool, be prepared,

definitely not school children

in a big enough tank they should get along fine. I wouldn't try though in anything with footprint smaller than 6' x 18" or 4' x 2'.
