Small goldfish? | |
bcwcat22 Big Fish Posts: 395 Kudos: 314 Votes: 34 Registered: 16-Jul-2005 | A friend of our family had a goldfish from a fair in a 10 gallon tank, upon hearing this I thought of course the fish must be huge and stunted but when I fish sat for a few days I saw no signs of stunting and an apparently happy goldfish only about 3 inches long. It recently kicked the bucket after 3 years in its 10 gallon tank. What type of goldfish stays small enough to fit in a 10 gallon tank? "A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man" Simpsons |

If that goldfish died when it was three years old, then it died when it was baby. Goldfish are supposed to live 20-30 years, and the oldest recorded was 43. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Goldfish get to be a foot or so, which is BIGGER than the tank its self. It just doesn't work. PS Goldfish have a very long lifespan of about 30-40 years. Inky |
