39G Bol Ram and lemon tetra | |
lifeofcrimeguy Enthusiast Posts: 230 Kudos: 265 Registered: 12-Jan-2004 | Ok so so far I'm thinking of, in a 39G 3ft, 1 male Bol Ram 6+ lemon tetra possible 1 BN depending on number of lemon tetra. I was also looking at instead of the lemon tetra maybe going with chile barbs or red phantoms. I know both of these species can at times be fin nippers but I know a person who has chile barbs in with angels, dwarf gouramis and paradise fish atm and they dont seem to be nipping so perhaps its a matter of luck whether I would end up with nippers or not. |

Add some Driftwood & some Plants for a SA tank. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

You're saying that you aren't going for a South American tank, but you want to stock it with lemon tetras, a Bolivian ram, and a bristlenose? And also, are you looking for help on what else to add? This would look nice, but I don't know if you want so many of just one species of tetra. Lemons are awesome though, so tons of them would make for a cool tank. One bristlenose One Bolivian ram Thirty lemon tetras That help any? I'm sorry, but I really don't know what you need help with.:%) |

Like many people I used to want as many different types of fish as possible. Now though I personally prefer a tank with a large school of one species, perhaps a centerpiece fish or two, and of course some bottom feeders ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Just simply that I would be sticking to a neutral pH without driftwood and the like. Any comments on the use of chile barbs or red phantoms? And yeah sorry sirbooks, I am going for a single species dither fish on this one. Last edited by lifeofcrimeguy at 10-Jun-2005 20:26 |

You will never really see your ram at his best unless he has another ram to hang out with. They have such a wonderful social structure, such dynamic gorgeous fish. If I were you I would go for a group of Rams. I have 5 and they are so awesome together. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |
