I've not tried my hand on the onions, but I do have 3 banana plants and they seem to be doing fairly well just lying on the gravel. I was a little too nervous to try to force even just the tips into the substrate. So, I simply let them rest on the bottom and they appear to be doing well. I have new leaf growth and only saw a few stalks die off when I initially placed them into my tank, which seems to be typical of most plants.

Well I removed the onions from the tank and added them to the 35 gallon. I also removed the ambulia I think thats it. I have added tho some Rotalia Indica I think, some Didiplis diandra and some Bacopa caroliniana

Im hoping to move the Vals to the left and right corners of the tank and move the Bacopa and Indica to the back with the ludwiga. I also need to replant one of the swords upfront. I also added another piece of Bolbitis from my 35 gallon to put on the rock. the bolbitis was getting hammered with algae in the 35 gallon.

Ill get some pics of the changes up soon.

Thanks for your input as always, Shane

quick update, tank is doing well, I still have not started to add nutrients yet but I am trying my best to research. I have however got 2 1 ltr DIY bottles on my 20 Gallon right now being distributed via a Powerhead. I will be moving to an glass Diffuser with bubble counter shortly. However I was wondering wether I should add Excel with the CO2 or just start the other nutrients?

Thanks
Shane
