I'm just getting into planting my tank and I got a plant called Variegated Acorus from an on-line site. I didn't realize it was a terrarium plant. Will this work or will the plants just die?

Hi,
Probably the plant will become water logged, so to speak
and grow soft and die. Some like very moist climate, and
others can take a short submergence as if in a brief flood
but none that I know of will make a successful transition
to being fully submerged.
