Fallout Moderator Communications Specialist Posts: 6416 Kudos: 4053 Votes: 742 Registered: 29-Jul-2000	I've had 14 small fish in a ten gallon planted, and did water changes once a week with excellent filtration. if you do changes twice a week and keep your fitration smooth, you'll be fine. They're small fish that don't produce a lot of waste, and will get along w/o issue. As long as you don't slack or feed way too much....

I myself have a planted 10 gallon with 7 cardinals and an otto.... Everything's going fine so I guess you cound have 8 and do a water change every 2 weeks. Always best to do once a week though. I normally do once every week and a half or 2 weeks.
