| Old Text: | Try to make at least one nightly feeding with loaches to be sure they get their fair share of the food in a community tank. For a loach dedicated tank these loaches will eat during the daytime. A varied diet is important and most prepared foods are accepted including but not limited to: Snails, sinking shrimp pellets, sinking algae and carnivore wafers, worms, and sometimes even the plants in your tank. While not as notorious of plant shredders as some loaches they might take a nibble or two. A
