Filter for a Surface Skimmer | |
amackattack Enthusiast Posts: 299 Kudos: 84 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Dec-2001 | Hi everyone, I purchased the Fluval surface skimmer for my new tank as there was some film building up on the surface. This skimmer took care of it. I've tested the tank to see if the film still builds up and it does, so I can't get rid of the skimmer yet. My question is: does anyone know if I can connect it to some sort of submersible filter? After connecting it to my Fluval 304 it seemed to decrease the flow rate by a lot and is having a hard time keeping the water clear. Thanks in advance. amackattack |

It is made by Current USA, it is called "Subcurrent Surface Aquarium Skimmer". I just boughtit on ebay, so I will find out soon enough how well it works. Will let you know. amackattack |
